JSP의 역할은 톰캣을 기반으로 동작하며 크롬에서 HTTP request 프로토콜을 받아서 처리하여 HTTP response 프로토콜을 만들어서 크롬에 전달한다. 크롬 V8을 기준으로 js와 html,css가 돌아가는 것이다.

이렇게 두가지 방법이 있지만 첫 번째 디렉티브는 브라우저에 전송되는 콘텐츠의 타입과 해당 콘텐츠의 문자 인코딩을 설정하는 반면, 두 번째 디렉티브는 JSP 페이지 내의 소스 코드의 인코딩을 설정합니다.

# 외부 jsp파일을 포함 시켜보자

위의 코드처럼 include01_ header.jsp파일을 생성하고 이 파일을 include01.jsp파일에 포함 시켜보려고 한다.

위의 코드 처럼 <%@ include file="include01_header.jsp"%>를 삽입해서 include01_ header.jsp파일을 가져올 수 있다. 이렇게 코드를 작성하고 톰캣을 통해서 크롬으로 브라우저에 띄우면 아래와 같은 결과가 나온다.
